Casa Bellamini: The Video Tour
Situated on ultra-exclusive Turtle Creek Drive, this spectacular, newly constructed residence was designed by renowned architect Cole Smith and is nestled among breathtaking views of tree-lined Turtle Creek. A formidable iron-gated enclosure signals the entrance to this impressive structure which resides on an almost one-acre estate. Exhibiting Moorish architecture with Spanish and Algerian influences, the approximately 8,000-square-foot Turtle Creek showplace was modeled after Gianni Versace’s Casa Casuarina in Miami’s South Beach and showcases five bedrooms and six full and one-half baths, including guest quarters. If needed, the existing structure of this magnificent residence can easily be expanded to over 15,000 square feet.
All principle rooms are situated off of a two-story natatorium, a gathering place and the focal point of this stunning residence, which is designed and constructed with all the comfort and benefits of a luxury boutique hotel, complete with state-of-the-art amenities, custom finishes, hand-crafted stone, marble, millwork, cabinetry and steel, and custom lighting throughout as a “private boutique residence.”

The home includes its own fully-equipped commercially inspired spa, accessible to all visitors. The spa, located on the upper floor, includes a steam room, therapeutic soaking tub, three shower areas, grotto, pool, waterfall, heated stone town shelving, dressing area, lounge seating, fireplace, full bar, and changing area. To enjoy the full benefit of the spa’s sheer indulgences, a 42” plasma television, projection monitor, and state-of-the-art sound system can be programmed to continuously play relaxing seasonal visuals with audio.
All principle rooms were designed for comfort and relaxation. The Library incorporates a high-tech mini-office neatly tucked behind stainless steel grill of a half wall that serves to separate the walnut-paneled seating area. The dining room, while formal, retains a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The master bedroom soothes the senses, and its Juliet balcony provides an early morning or evening respite. The master suite dressing room is pure genius: a tall, narrow plasma television takes its cue from runway shows to provide inspiration. All the custom closets, constructed in walnut, conceal a wealth of hanging space, shelving, and drawers that can easily be re-configured. The large centered cabinet provides additional drawer space to accommodate dress for all seasons.
The Kitchen’s aspects were made to look less like a work space and more like another area of welcome. The different textures and a beautiful view create comfort and integrate with the rest of the living space. Unlike most kitchens where refrigerators and ranges are in full view, all the appliances are hidden behind walnut-paneled doors so as not to disturb the overall aesthetic. The ornate center island is custom-carved from walnut, providing a functional service area that integrates the living areas. A custom wine rack has been incorporated for easy access.
Open to the central corridor is the media room, complete with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. The media room has concealed pocket doors that can be closed for a more intimate viewing experience. A guest room opens with double doors to the natatorium so that visitors can experience the sound of the fountains and view the sparkle of lights from the chandelier reflecting in the pool below. When the doors are closed, guests have privacy and warmth.
Special details in the other four guest rooms and utility areas have not been overlooked. Mood lighting is visible throughout and programmed to incorporate changes in natural light throughout the day and into the evening. An under-the-floor heating system adds warmth to the otherwise cool marble floors. Blackout blinds are well concealed behind recessed pockets in the principle rooms so as not to disturb the ambience or interrupt the superb views of the grounds and Turtle Creek beyond. All rooms have built-in computer panels that allow residents to connect to other rooms, to order room or general services, and play favorite movies on personal screens.
